Power down screens and boot up life!
The Unplugged Program is designed to encourage kids to reduce their screen time by getting out and reconnecting with the world around them.
How it Works: Ask students to turn off all electronic devices for one day. This includes, cellphones, tablets, computers, television and so on.
Have them keep a journal or have parents take and post pictures of activities throughout the week and record how the lack of technology is affecting their day. Their final journal entry should describe how they feel about the technology-free day.
